Asbury Park Little League believes in the power of youth baseball and softball to teach life lessons that build stronger individuals and communities, and where all kids have the opportunity to experience the values of teamwork, inclusion, integrity, and fun.
Our new Board is already planning for the 2026 season – once again we need your help to continue this successful and important program for Asbury Park youth.
Looking back at 2024, we accomplished many things, including:

Added girls softball to APLL for the first time – 3 teams!
- Supplied 150 players with uniforms, including cleats.
- Provided necessary playing and safety equipment: helmets, gloves, baseballs, bats and first aid kits (including an AED device).
- Offered recreational activities for players and parents, including trips to Yankees and Blue Claws games, and visits to Nickelodeon and the Cape May Zoo.
Proudly, we’ve continued to operate the league without collecting fees for player registration, uniforms and equipment. This practice guarantees that cost does not prevent our deserving kids from participating in our amazing program.
Looking ahead, our 2026 plans are equally ambitious. In the works are a new scoreboard (thanks in large part to a generous donor), expansion of the softball program and advanced skills development. Importantly, we are partnering with the Board of Education on field improvements and facilities upgrades.
Again, we are immensely grateful for your continued involvement and support. We look forward to seeing you at our Opening Day Celebration in April, and of course at the fields cheering on our kids.
